New York Tomato

This smart eatery ingeniously named New York Tomato, is a grungy and funky place. Serving up innovative, hearty breakfast, to the well-informed crowd.

New York Tomato: Corner of New and York street (Richmond)

Baked Eggs with Napoli Sauce

A hearty, comfy breakfast dish, baked eggs served with rich napoli sauce, basil, pine nuts and goats cheese. This dish I reckon is perfect for the cold winter, its nice and comforting. It had really simple, familiar flavours there, a great thing espcially for Breakfast. It would be great if, they had been more generous with the sourdough, two slices would had been perfect.

Baked Eggs with lentils, fetta and morcillaa sausage

Whilst the former, can be described as mild and familiar, the latter can be described as robust and flavoursome. The flavours in this baked eggs do pack a punch. Morcilla Sausage (spanish version of blood pudding), had a nice pepperish, spicy taste, it complemented with the crumbled fetta and lentils. Again, It would have been great if they could have been more generous with the sourdough, it would have been lovely to let the bread soak all the tomatoey goodness.
